All purchases in excess of $10,000 are formally bid. These bids are advertised in the local newspaper. All formal bids require a bid bond equal to 10% of the bid amount. All City of Lancaster bid documents can be acquired by contacting the Procurement Office at the address or number listed below.
This office also sources products and services in many categories. This office schedules the annual city auction, normally held during the month of August, for the sales of obsolete equipment. Excess city vehicles are auctioned by the County in September of each year. |
